After 34 years in camp ministry, I know what the work takes out of a leader and his family. My wife Lynn and I own a family home in northern Michigan. We open it to people in ministry who need a few days to rest, think, and be with their families.
This is not a program. There are no sessions and no schedule. It is a house, in a quiet place, for as long as you are there.
• Sleeps 14, shared as a whole house
• 2 kitchens, each fully equipped
• A game room with ping pong, foosball, and cards
• A large deck and a firepit, firewood provided
• WiFi and a TV in each flat
• ATV and snowmobile trails nearby, golf and a clubhouse pool in the community
• Boyne Mountain Ski Resort is about 25 miles away
Bring your family. Or bring your leadership team and use the time to plan.

Bear Pause Lodge is our family home. It is not a rental and it is not open to the public.
Retreats are arranged directly with me. If you need a place to rest, contact me and we will talk about dates.
There is no charge for your stay. We do not cover transportation, food, or activities. Those are yours.
The Lodge is our family's way of serving the people who serve everyone else.
